BLACK SPRUCE
Description
Black spruce is one of the 40 species of spruce trees in the Abietaceae family. This conifer is one of the most resistant to the harsh climates of the taiga and the arctic, which is why it dominates the region spanning Alaska and the forests of Canada and the northern continental United States. The essential oil is produced by distilling the harvested needles.
