ELEMI
Description
Elemi is a gum produced by a tree of the Canarium family, which is cultivated in a specific region of the Philippines, south of Manila. Between July and November, incisions are made in the trunk and a thin strip of bark is removed every day. The gum is then gathered once per week. It takes about seven years for a tree to start producing abundant quantities of gum.

To produce this essential oil of elemi, we source our raw material from an exporter partner in the Philippines and the extraction is carried out at our production unit in France.
