Lavandin is a hybrid of two lavenders created in France to improve the plant’s resistance and productivity. The cultivation of this hybrid has been developed intensively over the past 30 years. Its odor is less floral and more aromatic than lavender. There are four lavandin qualities in France.

It is traditionally used in fougere accords, in the reconstitution of lavender, or in men’s aromatic compositions. It can be associated with woody, spicy or amber notes, bringing a nice fresh aromatic effect.
