LOVAGE
Description
Lovage is an herb found in central and southern Europe as well as northern China. It grows to the size of a man and can be cultivated or harvested wild. The entire plant contains a natural oil that is traditionally used as a spice to flavor soups and meat broths with its warm, powerful note of celery. A natural oil is obtained from its dried roots by steam distillation and solvent extraction.
