Description
Very common in the temperate zones of Europe, sweet clover is a biennial herbaceous plant of the Fabaceae family. It is useful mainly as a honey plant and as fodder, for which purposes it has been extensively cultivated in many parts of the world. Note that it contains coumarin, which gives the plant its pleasant scent.
