Description
Opoponax is a natural gum-resin obtained by incising the trunks of Commiphora erythraea, a small tree that grows mainly in Somalia. The trees grow in the wild and are regularly incised in order to gather the gum several weeks later. It takes the form of irregular rounded “tears” and dark brownish clumps.

In order to offer this essential oil of opoponax, we source our raw material, the gum, from local exporters and distill it at our main production unit in France.
