TUBEROSE
Description
Native to Mexico, tuberose is now mainly cultivated in southern India, in the states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. The flower is traditionally used to make garlands for religious purposes. Although tuberose blossoms can be found in the flower markets nearly all year long, there are two harvest periods per year for the production of tuberose concrete.
